Pros
Fantastic opportunities for advancement and personal development. Involved, caring direct manager with an interest in the growth and development of the team. Our business unit has almost a family type culture where there are very minimal occurrences of teams competing; everyone works cross-functionally quite easily.
Cons
Occasional "political" issues when dealing with other teams, but more often than not they are resoled and an agreement is reached.
