Pros

Working with the people who are in the trenches with you day to day The amazing product (on Getty anyway) The work life balance "Flatness" of the organization, the ability to talk directly with most of the senior leaders on a day to day basis Lack of ego or pettiness within most groups Location to major transportation corridors Annual summer and winter parties

Cons

Not much room for career advancement Below market compensation without bonuses or other performance based incentives or annual raises Continued exodus of talented people with revolving door of new hires Lack of clear vision for meaningful growth opportunities, continually shifting priorities, and new “exciting” products delivered then forgot about Decisions being dictated from C-Level without much challenge and contradictory to advice from many in the day-to-day operations 3+ Billion dollars in venture capital debt dissolving any opportunities for continued acquisitions, technological innovations, meaningful capital investment, or employee retention

- fun culture where you get to hear talks by photographers - adopts new technologies relatively early in the game - a really great place to learn and grow as a developer

Cons

- can handle shifts/re-orgs poorly with communication, leaving employees feeling unheard and unvalued.

Pros

WFH, good overall culture. Good people.

Cons

Leadership has been slow to stay current and modern in the workplace. The business is straddled with debt from a pervious investment company that had bought Getty and gutted it. Future is uncertain.
