Pros

Seven years ago I would have recommended GlobalPayments to anyone looking for a fun, exciting and caring place to work, the was a culture of caring and compensation was on par with the work requested of you.

Cons

In recent years with a shift in management has come a decline in care for the employee, employees are asked to work odd hours and many hours in a row, I personally have worked 24 or more hours in a row with little more than a pat on the back and to be expected to be back in the office after only 8 hours of sleep.

Pros

Hands-On Experience with Modern Infrastructure Friendly and Supportive Culture Great Resume Builder Work-Life Balance If you value a supportive team culture, a manageable workload, and building high-scale professional project experience, a Global Payments internship is a fantastic stepping stone, especially for launching a career in FinTech or platform engineering.

Cons

Uncertainty Around Full-Time Pipeline Varying Tech Stacks by Team: Because the company encompasses many different product lines and acquired systems, your experience can vary wildly depending on the specific team you land on. Some teams work on cutting-edge, next-gen cloud platforms, while others are tasked with maintaining or upgrading older legacy architectures.
