Pros

Good pay, good benefits. Paid holidays. Meet some cool people and acquired some good connections.

Cons

Unbelievable amount of politics at this company. Everyone has a agenda, good work is not rewarded nor appreciated. Middle management is a joke. Outdated old technologies and unwillingness to learn anything new. MICRO MANAGEMENT like I've never seen before. If you have to go to the bathroom you better tell someone. Working here will suck the spirit right out of you.

Pros

Hands-On Experience with Modern Infrastructure Friendly and Supportive Culture Great Resume Builder Work-Life Balance If you value a supportive team culture, a manageable workload, and building high-scale professional project experience, a Global Payments internship is a fantastic stepping stone, especially for launching a career in FinTech or platform engineering.

Cons

Uncertainty Around Full-Time Pipeline Varying Tech Stacks by Team: Because the company encompasses many different product lines and acquired systems, your experience can vary wildly depending on the specific team you land on. Some teams work on cutting-edge, next-gen cloud platforms, while others are tasked with maintaining or upgrading older legacy architectures.
