Pros

The time and a half for overtime is great.

Cons

They go through way to many people for a company that size. Everyday they are hiring and firing people. You just have to hope its not you. If you do something wrong they don't discuss it with you and tell you what you did wrong. If you do something wrong you will just find out you did something wrong by getting fired. They will never actually tell you what you did wrong. I think my boss had it out for me for some reason I am not sure why. Avoid this company at all costs it will ruin more than just your day it will ruin your career.

Pros

The best company culture I have ever encountered. I have worked as an Agency recruiter for tech companies that touted their culture as “great” which honestly meant vapid and empty. Global Power Components team culture is encouraging, direct, real, breeds organic actual fun while dealing with the difficulties of the day. Was with the company from 2023-2025 and left of my own accord and during that time it over tripled in size. The hiring managers I worked with were extremely respectful and when I had to be the “annoying recruiter” asking them for feedback on candidates they never took it out on me. This company is growing immensely fast but still feels like a small “family” owned company in the best possible way. If you are a recruiter looking for a In House recruiting position Global Power Components will most likely be the best company you have ever worked for.

Cons

Sometimes standards of what candidates we are looking for will vary from what is coming from an outside agency to what the in house team brings in.

Pros

There is plenty of overtime available

Cons

Bad management that micromanages, but doesn’t actually understand what you are doing as a tech Company treats you like a disposable asset Owner only cares about his race cars Unrealistic expectations Too high of travel expectations
