Pros
Competitive environment, great people and forces you to work hard. Good job to gain visibility on what BD roles are about. If you do well there is potential to make a lot of money. The products are actually very good.
Cons
Very much have to fit the mould, misselling culture, bit backwards in terms of how they motivate staff and you only really get attention if you are doing well. Negative culture. Most focus on the bad aspects of anything that you do, you are only praised if your manager gets a deal on a demo you have opened. Closing deals are not a BDE's job BDE's are often calling the same companies over and over and burning leads. The company reputation isn't that great.
