I worked as a Engineer and honestly it has been one of the most frustrating experiences in my early career after my postgraduate degree.
There is almost no effective collaboration between the Remote fab and the Bangalore team. Communication between the India management and Remote teams is very weak, which creates constant confusion and delays in work.
A major concern is the lack of technical leadership in the Bangalore team. My manager in India had very limited understanding of semiconductor processes, which made it difficult to get proper guidance or make technical decisions.
Promotions and recognition do not always feel based on merit. At times, it seems that visibility and favoritism matter more than actual technical contribution.
Overall, this environment makes it challenging for engineers who want to learn, grow, and work in a technically strong and collaborative setup. I am now looking for better opportunities where I can develop my skills in a more professional and supportive environment.
