Steep initial learning curve, if you are lucky enough to land up in exotic projects. Depends on your manager
Cons
Lots of logistics involved than technical work. The majority of time goes into unnecessary meetings, reports, approval chasing, etc. Poor base pay (however, the bonus can average out the low base pay just enough).
