Pros

- Great team (if you are in a good one) - Challenging and critical thinking work every day - Lots of learning opportunities from collaboration worldwide

Cons

- Expects lots and lots of work with a basic minimal pay - Age contributes to the promotion timeline. No matter how valuable your work is or how big your contributions are, if you are not old enough, no promotion for you. - Sometimes the work is not motivating at all. - Very frequent reorganizations in all the teams.

Pros

The environment at GlobalFoundries is amazing. Everyone wants to help each other and is very friendly/supportive. Interns have a main project and might have other smaller projects they work on over the summer, and the mentors do a great job of providing guidance and feedback on challenges.

Cons

Sometimes there is a large lag in work resulting from mentors being too busy with their own work, or when waiting for other full-time workers to get an action done that the intern needs
