Good work, can be easy, but frustrating corporate culture and poor management. - Logistics Technician GlobalFoundries Employee Review

Pros

I'm on overnights and it's pretty chill. Lots of hardworking people. Working in the cleanroom can be tough but there's some downtime too.

Cons

The work itself isn't hard, but dealing with poor management that doesn't engage much with us and makes some weird decisions that we have to deal with is what's frustrating. Corporate focus on DEI instead of efficient function is driving away good workers who want a return to valuing merit and effective problem solving.

Pros

The pros for GlobalFoundries heavily out weigh the cons as an intern. I have experienced a welcoming and supportive environment from my team and coworkers. I have also been given the opportunity to heavily contribute to projects on site and make an impact instead of just observing.

Cons

As an intern, the experience goes by quickly, and there is always more to learn than time allows. Some projects and processes can have steep learning curves at first, but support is always readily available.
