Pros

This is a GREAT place to work, and I'm not somebody who throws the caps lock around willy-nilly. I mean it. Yes, I've been employed with them for less than a year, but I've loved every minute. During the onboarding experience, I was wined and dined; beginning the actual job, I was helped every step of the way. I felt like the other employees actually cared about me -- which was great, coming from a job in which I didn't feel very valued. Did mention Linda? She's the hiring manager, and she's been amazing. Not only in helping select the very best employees (i.e. me) but in doing everything she can to help. She's gone above and beyond to make me feel settled in here. And have you seen the office? My goodness! A huge amount of open space, lunch provided every day (and it actually tastes good), a ton of open places to host phone calls, trainings, conferences, or company movie nights, a huge wall dedicated to jokes, classic films, and encouraging messages, and more. There's even a gym next door. Yeah, it's pretty incredible. Oh, and free parking too, which is nice in bustling SLC. What else can I say? I love working here. I'm excited for the future: there are opportunities for growth. Not just for the company, but for the employees. I truly can't recommend working here highly enough.

Cons

The only con I can think of is some (not all) of the upper managers talk quite often about "public shaming". It's in a joking manner: it's all very "haha, public shaming, haha", but it quickly loses its humor when it's actually implemented as a "motivation" tool. Public shaming never motivates people, it humiliates them; it's not conducive to communication or openness when people are constantly worried that what they will say or do will be used against them in some way. We, as a company, sell B2B trainings. Some of our upper management should take trainings on how to properly motivate, respect, and listen to their employees.

Pros

Go1 has a lot of amazing people who are working hard to shift the business towards a new vision which will be significantly more competitive and is inspiring to be a part of. Past years of Go1 have felt like the product strategy slowed or stalled, but the energy has begun to rebound as we’ve re-envisioned the product direction. It’s exciting to be part of. The people are genuinely kind, the in-person get togethers (GoGether) are fun and well planned, the culture has improved a lot in the last year!

Cons

Go1 is evolving quickly (feels like a lot of change) because the market is evolving quickly. It can feel overwhelming at times, but better to be moving fast and changing directions vs staying static!
