Pros

Had you asked me this two years ago this list would have been endless, now its empty.

Cons

Gone public, greed is the only thing driving this place. 10x the work for a 10th of the pay, unethical, forced to sell customers products and useless products they don't need & now layimg off tons of people as their departments are being outsourced and moved overseas one by one. Don't be fooled by the Godaddy name, is doesn't mean much anymore.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. We serve and treat it as a honor to come in and do something bigger than ourselves each day. The ultimate goal is to ensure that at the end of each interaction we help our small business customers move forward. It’s our job to ensure that our customers have the right products and solutions for their unique needs, we celebrate upgrades and downgrades. We also believe strongly in our mission and vision and will do everything to we make sure we give customers the opportunity to buy versus selling them. It’s the consulting approach and it differentiates us from the market. In the end we don’t pitch customers a product, because we believe asking good questions to our customers presents them with an opportunity to make informed decisions about how best to give our customer more time doing what they love doing, pitching customers is a statement and as a consumer myself I would not want a statement “aka” pitch presented to me. Great questions that provide insight and an opportunity to learn for both ourselves and our customers, regardless of any transaction, create trust and that builds lasting relationships with our customers. That’s the goal and we treat it as an honor to serve our customers in this fashion.

Pros

Great benefits, cool people (not including leadership)

Cons

- You'll be worked like a slave, told when you can take your breaks and lunches. - Boy's Club. If you're in it, you can get away with lying to customers, breaking company policy, and basically whatever you want. If you're not part of it, watch your back, you'll be hyper-scrutinized for every action you take. - Commissions are capped, so top performers are limited. - This is not a true sales job, you are taking inbound customer service calls and will be expected to do technical support and deal with escalated inbound customers. - Much of the job has been outsourced to a Business Partner Organization (BPO) in the Philippines. Because they aren't true GoDaddy employees, they are allowed to operate like the wild wild west. Lying to customers, selling them duplicate products, deleting things from their accounts and reselling them the same product. Basically a complete legal nightmare... but you aren't allowed to complain about it and you are expected to fix all the problems they create.
