Pros

Great Insurance, Different ERG's, Uncapped bonuses, You can meet great people.

Cons

90% white male in management levels, internal promotion not good. you can work there for years and not reach sales goals for 3 months and they will terminate you. Hard to get vacation time if you are in a sales role. You have to use your sick time and vacation time if you are 1 minute late or more. if you don't have sick time to cover you can potentially lose your job for clocking in 1 min late.

Thank you for your feedback. For the last several years, our sales organization has been led by women. We have female managers and supervisors in those roles as well. We take our commitment to a diverse workplace seriously and partner with our talent acquisition team to bring in the best, diverse talent available. In June of 2021, we had our first virtual job fair that shared over 100 videos of various departments throughout the company with all employees along with interviewing and resume building sessions. In addition, we have various internships that are posted for all guides to learn and develop their skills in a role that they have career interest in with over 90% of these guides hired into permanent positions.“ Our performance and attendance expectations are clear and set at attainable levels. If a guide struggles to meet a performance expectation, they receive a dedicated coaching plan and spend extra time with their leader to give them the best chance for success. Along with our set attendance policy for Care employees, we do offer sick days plus additional personal days throughout the year to help with unforeseen circumstances. With current events, we also work with our People Ops team to accommodate as much as possible for employees that report a positive Covid test. In addition, we have allowed our guides flexibility when they need to do a shift slide if something comes up for them with their family.

Pros

Great benefits, cool people (not including leadership)

Cons

- You'll be worked like a slave, told when you can take your breaks and lunches. - Boy's Club. If you're in it, you can get away with lying to customers, breaking company policy, and basically whatever you want. If you're not part of it, watch your back, you'll be hyper-scrutinized for every action you take. - Commissions are capped, so top performers are limited. - This is not a true sales job, you are taking inbound customer service calls and will be expected to do technical support and deal with escalated inbound customers. - Much of the job has been outsourced to a Business Partner Organization (BPO) in the Philippines. Because they aren't true GoDaddy employees, they are allowed to operate like the wild wild west. Lying to customers, selling them duplicate products, deleting things from their accounts and reselling them the same product. Basically a complete legal nightmare... but you aren't allowed to complain about it and you are expected to fix all the problems they create.
