Pros

I worked for GoEngineer for over a year and loved every minute. The industry is fascinating and for an inside sales rep, it was amazing to be able to have a different conversation with every phone call rather than sticking to a script. Commissions are uncapped and if you have the drive you can make anywhere from $55k+ a year. Management is supportive, but for the most part pretty hands off; no one is going to babysit you unless your numbers are in the toilet then you'll likely get approached to pick up the slack. Energy on the team is awesome, everyone is buddies and it's not a cut-throat environment. You have the opportunity to go on the President's Club trip every year if you hit your goal, and in the summer they take the entire company up to Park City, UT for a retreat with breakout sessions, outdoor activities, and every night is an absolute riot. Everyone is in the company is willing to help at the drop of the hat if you ever have any questions, the CEO is super cool and walks around the office frequently and is far more approachable than any other CEO I've ever met. The hours are as good as you could hope for, M-F and if you're hitting your numbers, management is really flexible with you if you need to make adjustments to your schedule. Great work/life balance. Honestly can't say enough good things about my experience working there.

Cons

The only con I can really think of is that moving up to be an account manager can be tougher than you might think. Since there isn't a lot of turnover there aren't that many spots open for advancement, so you have to be a top performer on the ISR team to be in the running for that. The company has been growing a lot recently, so with that comes more opportunity, but just know going into it that if you aren't kicking butt and hitting goals, you're not going to be considered for a promotion.

Pros

Great reseller to work for. A lot of recognition in the marketspace for our support and value-add so selling is much easier than for typical VAR's

Cons

Needs better onboarding process to help sellers hit the ground running faster.

Pros

6 weeks of PTO and decent health insurance. $400 HSA contribution per quarter.

Cons

I’ve worked 10 years in corporate sales and his company has the worst crm data hygiene I have ever seen. Little to no context in contact outreach. Also there isn’t really an organized knowledge base to effectively answer technical questions. When you show up, you’re given a blank onedrive to fill out on your own with templates, scripts, and product information. There really isn’t time to be creating your own knowledge base and SOPS. The base salary is low but thought it could be tolerable for a well established company with reliable processes.
