Pros
Low-pressure, slow work pace, low stress. People are for the most part very nice and down to earth.
Cons
Little to no opportunities for growth. Company (and industry) are really struggling. Financial performance is very poor and there is no money to be invested in what needs to be updated. Salaries are well below market wages and no promotions or raises can be expected even for the most hard working and deserving people. Customer service is very poor and there is poor communication. Job roles are poorly defined so if a customer has an issue, the phone gets tossed around without fixing the problem because nobody knows whose responsibility it is. The technology at this company is very outdated and no money is invested to make sure people have the technology they need to get their daily responsibilities done. Expect to spend hours on the phone with IT to fix issues that should not have surfaced in the first place. Dress code is much too formal for the setting, including shirt and tie for men.
