Pros
Firm recognition. There is a great deal of respect for the Goldman Sachs name outside of the firm. They offer excellent benefits, and I hear some horror stories from people at other firms.
Cons
Just because a person is a senior manager does not mean they are an effective leader; some of the senior level people believe they are better then most of the people working under them, and I find them not as open to productive arguments as they should.
