Pros
GS is great for many reasons. First, it is great on a resume, and working here can open a lot of doors. It is also a collaborative environment where growth and learning is constantly encouraged. You work with incredibly intelligent and motivated people.
Cons
There are some huge egos at this firm. How well you are treated is highly dependent on who your manager is. Some are great, some will try to push blame onto their analysts, take credit for their work, and have little compassion. Especially right now, when everywhere is understaffed and everyone is overworked and burnt out, there is a lack of compassion.
