Pros
The people and the environment are the best reasons to work at Goldman Sachs. Everyone is committed to helping one another, no matter how busy they are. It's very much a meritocracy; if you do well, they will give you more responsibility so that you will always feel challenged.
Cons
It's not an environment for superstars if that is what you like. All important decisions are very much group based decisions and the culture is very team oriented. You are graded on how well you perform in a team because it's very important.
