Pros

Some of the staff was good to work with and good at their jobs

Cons

Not a good place to work at all, seems alright at first but the disfunction quickly begins to show after a few days. "CEO" doesn't want to do legal work, wants law clerks to act like attorneys, and constantly passes off his duties to everyone else. Disrespects attorneys and staff, and will dismiss complaints. High turnover, every few weeks policies, job duties, and requirements change without enough time to learn and implement the last change. New employees don't get trained or told procedures but then get reprimanded when they don't follow them. Regularly over bill clients. They will also reduce your pay without notice or reason and then act surprised when you are upset by it. Management is completely disorganized and will give you 3-4 different answers to the same question. The COO dismisses complaints and ignores employees concerns about inappropriate behavior.

Pros

Jake Lugo was instrumental in launching my career in the legal industry. As my supervisor, he brought a depth of knowledge that made complex concepts like law firm economics genuinely accessible, and took a hands-on approach to my development that went well beyond day-to-day oversight. Jake actively connected me to leadership, pushed me to expand my technical toolkit, and helped me build a more versatile, cross-functional workflow. His mentorship gave me a foundation I continue to draw on.

Cons

I have no cons aside from a suggestion to sponsor more staff lunches.
