The people. I met a few really great people that I miss working with but, in general, the people at NC were awful. Here's a few examples:
1. It was a routine experience to get abuse from coworkers both at NC and from the centers, especially from people who were in higher management positions or had been there for years and were well connected. When I would report this to my supervisors, I was told that I had to accept it because that's just the way the person was even though I would get written up if I treated someone that way.
2. favoritism: its very obvious. I've watched unqualified people get promoted up simply because of who they knew only to have their job requirements restructured down to fit their ability.
