Pros

You're able to help people get jobs sometimes and give them hope about their career. Great kind-hearted coworkers. I felt supported at all times.

Cons

The pay here is terrible. The company policies around helping people are strick. It's basically a call center type job and then you sit at the front desk. I noticed that non-profits are all about numbers and not actually helping people. They make people go through many obstacles to apply for a job or help them.

I get paid consistently. I don't have to stress about restraining people or raising my voice. My clients are friendly.

Cons

The pay is that good. I have to travel to NYC every day.

Great impact on the community

Cons

Terrible salary and hourly pay rates. They claim they care about the community, but don't do anything for their own people to make sure they're taken care of and paid fairly.
