Pros

*Please note that Goodwill is REGIONAL and I can only speak for this region You can get 40 hours a week and often 2 days a week off in a row.

Cons

Hourly raises are insignificant compared to may other organizations. Production quotas are constantly increased and unreachable so staff are constantly strained and stressed. Very anti-union. Training, continuing education, and employee assistance programs childcare, health and wellness, family needs, personal money management skills, etc. are not available or are inadequately supplied and poorly administered. For example, in order to be eligible for scholastic reimbursement, employees must be working and attending school full-time. This is not possible for workers with families, or even for most people.
