Pros

They do have a decent benefit package. Employees receive holiday pay for 8 holidays a year and 80 hours of paid time off after first year but this also includes sick leave. Regular employees are a great bunch of people

Cons

Where to start...The employee handbook should be titled "1001 ways for us to fire you" also as goodwill is a non-profit that you expect is a charity, as we all know the charity work is minimal and most of the money goes to executive salaries. A co-worker who is disabled but a regular employee was fired for eating a piece of donated candy (candy that comes in donations is regularly consumed by employees as Goodwill does not sell it). Management is unfair and egotistical. New policies are less safe but make management look good. Workmans comp claims are high which will prove that point. Overall this place is like a prison

Pros

I get paid consistently. I don't have to stress about restraining people or raising my voice. My clients are friendly.

Cons

The pay is that good. I have to travel to NYC every day.

Pros

Great impact on the community

Cons

Terrible salary and hourly pay rates. They claim they care about the community, but don't do anything for their own people to make sure they're taken care of and paid fairly.
