Pros

The mission is worth going into the nonprofit, helping the team I supervise is the reason I get up in the morning. Absolutely like what I do and at times love it.

Cons

The pay is not what the industry calls for even though contract are costed well. It appears the company does not recruit for higher position internally, which kills morale of the team that gets the job done and keeps the lights on. No promise of advancement to leadership position for managers working in the field. Regardless of how hard you work or how many other position you cover in times of need. Recognition comes slow for job well done and are nothing more than a small bump in pay. But they act like it’s going to break the company. The only reason I am still there is my team.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
