Pros

Comprehensive training Flexibility between working the public front of the store or sorting roles in the back. Easy to learn assigned roles With good management, working with the team can be the greatest highlight.

Cons

Terrible pay Strict quotas to meet in sorting and organizing Just as a good manager and coworkers can be the best part of the job, a bad team can make the job a nightmare. It's customer service, so you're gonna run into difficulties with the public at some point. People can donate some gross stuff that is unpleasant to sort through.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
