Pros

The employees, most of the customers, getting to go through the donations and learning about new things

Cons

The whole corporate culture is toxic. This is a business that boasts how we are all family- first red flag. From my experience I have been screamed at, told to put on my big girl panties, threatened, told disgusting personal information I did not what to know, had to deal with misogyny, and this is from management and administration. Just to get an exit interview and my last check took 4 weeks of waiting. If you have to contact anyone in HR or payroll, they take days if not weeks to get back to you. There are no opportunities to grow, you are promised things for months only to have nothing happen. If you are hired for one position you will be required to do multiple jobs since they are very understaffed. The pay sucks. Someone who works there for 5+ years is making the same amount as someone just hired because they are trying to raise the pay rates, but don't take in consideration how much the current staff is making. The same pay issues happen in management, an ASM that has been with the company over 10 years is making $2 less per hour then a new hire that doesn't have a lot of experience. They are just trying to get warm bodies to fill positions, until they are staffed, then the managers pick who they don't want, targets the heck out of them to get them fired and then hire more people.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
