Pros

Ability to build relationships with patients, colleagues and in community. Schedule allows some daily flexibility. Good benefits in comparison to hospital. Lots of learning opportunities

Cons

Caseload and Role responsibilities can be overwhelming busy and require more than 40 hours. Despite heavy role responsibilities, management add education, organization and community related task. Exstensive "busy work" Documentation. Huge learning curb. Salary is on the lower end. May require work on evenings and weekends. Wear and tear on your own vehicle for minimal state mileage reimbursement. Advancement is based on funding vs. performance.

Pros

There is not a single "pro" to be listed.

Cons

The entire corporate office is beyond ignorant. Completely out of touch with reality, price gouging customers trying to raise profit margins for the non profit. Everyday at any second one call from corporate and there is a change to how everything has to be done, usually causing more issues only to blame people who had nothing to do with their ideas. They don't let the store manager be a store manager.. in fact, I'll sum up everything you need to know in one sentence.. they went as far as to install systems to remotely control the thermostat from their comfy corporate office. Imagine not just the employees but the customers constantly complaining. That is how out of touch with reality they all are.
