Pros

Broad Product Access: Agents leverage an expansive portfolio of top insurance carriers rather than being forced to sell a single brand. Passive Income Potential: Sales reps earn uncapped commissions on new business alongside recurring residual income from policy renewals. Strong Peer Culture: The workforce is described as highly motivated, energetic, and welcoming, offering a great environment for young professionals. Dedicated Service Support: Separate service and back-office teams handle ongoing client management, allowing sales agents to focus strictly on closing new business. Professional Development: The firm covers the cost of licensing exams and provides structured Salesforce and business development training. Standard Corporate Perks: Full-time corporate staff receive a complete Goosehead Insurance Employee Benefits Package, including a 401(k) match and an employee stock purchase plan.

Pros

Goosehead offers a supportive work environment with plenty of upward mobility. I started my career here about 4 years ago and have had the opportunity to develop 20+ agents and help launch expansion offices.

Cons

Not applicable…Goosehead offers a multitude of resources for support.

Pros

Overall acceptance from the team was good. Always able to ask questions and could expect help when needed for someone that was new.

Cons

Entirely performance oriented. Far exceeded my goal in first month, second month fell flat and it was decided that I was not a good fit for the company/industry and terminated with only a couple days notice. Did not have great insurance benefits and was confusing to select. Was expected to be working all the time, including weekends and after hours.
