Pros

The best thing about Goosehead is the opportunity for growth. The company is growing very quickly and there are several opportunities for leadership. For example, Goosehead is opening two offices in The Woodlands, Texas and Chicago, IL, and is promoting two sales managers to run the offices. As Goosehead expands into more states, the opportunities for leadership will continue to expand. You can also make a lot of money at Goosehead - one of the greatest things about the insurance industry is the ability to build a robust book of business overtime that continues to pay out every year. Goosehead's model allows you to sell more insurance faster than anywhere else in the industry. We also have a culture on our sales floor that is second to none. Goosehead is a meritocracy so you know your sales manager has gone through the same sales and growth process as you and can mentor you to be a successful Goosehead agent.

Cons

It is hard word - you cannot expect to accumulate wealth without working hard. It is a sales job - if you do not have the confidence to sell products and services, then this may not be the opportunity for you.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience at Goosehead, especially after moving into a Sales Manager role. The company gives people the opportunity to advance quickly if they’re willing to put in the work. I enjoy coaching and developing new agents, and it’s rewarding to see them grow both professionally and financially. The culture is energetic, leadership invests in training, and top performers are recognized. Like any sales organization, expectations are high and the pace is fast, so it isn’t the right fit for someone looking for a typical 9-to-5. But if you’re self-motivated, coachable, and enjoy competition, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth and strong earning potential.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations, so you have to be self-driven to succeed.

Pros

Broad Product Access: Agents leverage an expansive portfolio of top insurance carriers rather than being forced to sell a single brand. Passive Income Potential: Sales reps earn uncapped commissions on new business alongside recurring residual income from policy renewals. Strong Peer Culture: The workforce is described as highly motivated, energetic, and welcoming, offering a great environment for young professionals. Dedicated Service Support: Separate service and back-office teams handle ongoing client management, allowing sales agents to focus strictly on closing new business. Professional Development: The firm covers the cost of licensing exams and provides structured Salesforce and business development training. Standard Corporate Perks: Full-time corporate staff receive a complete Goosehead Insurance Employee Benefits Package, including a 401(k) match and an employee stock purchase plan.

Cons

No cons to mention here. - this is a job, you can make it great if you care about what you do and the relationships you are building.
