Pros

I could write a book about my 14 months working at Goosehead. For your convenience, this will be short and sweet. I had no sales experience at all coming from the Marine Corps and straight to Goosehead after I finished my degree at Texas A&M. Management saw something in me that I had not yet seen in myself. I consider myself lucky to have found a company in the midst of growing nationally as well as providing all the support I have ever needed to be successful. A few key notes as to why Goosehead is the best company to work for in my humble opinion: - Competitive guaranteed salary while you grow your marketing and sales skills - Unwavering support and coaching (Servant Leadership by some of the best managers I've ever been around...including my time in the Marines) - Meritocracy (if you put in the time and effort, you will make more money than your friends do) - Vast opportunity for personal and professional growth (Within my first year I got selected to co found our first corporate sales office outside of Texas. It will be the first of many) - Young, energetic, and competitive atmosphere (Monthly incentives and company events always keep things interesting around the office)

Cons

If you are not a fan of working with great people for a company that cares about you individually while also providing unmatched opportunity for personal and professional growth, I wouldn't consider Goosehead. The one thing that I do need to disclose is that you will work here. I would say the average work week is around 50 hours/week. But, weekends are always optional.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience at Goosehead, especially after moving into a Sales Manager role. The company gives people the opportunity to advance quickly if they’re willing to put in the work. I enjoy coaching and developing new agents, and it’s rewarding to see them grow both professionally and financially. The culture is energetic, leadership invests in training, and top performers are recognized. Like any sales organization, expectations are high and the pace is fast, so it isn’t the right fit for someone looking for a typical 9-to-5. But if you’re self-motivated, coachable, and enjoy competition, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth and strong earning potential.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations, so you have to be self-driven to succeed.

Pros

Broad Product Access: Agents leverage an expansive portfolio of top insurance carriers rather than being forced to sell a single brand. Passive Income Potential: Sales reps earn uncapped commissions on new business alongside recurring residual income from policy renewals. Strong Peer Culture: The workforce is described as highly motivated, energetic, and welcoming, offering a great environment for young professionals. Dedicated Service Support: Separate service and back-office teams handle ongoing client management, allowing sales agents to focus strictly on closing new business. Professional Development: The firm covers the cost of licensing exams and provides structured Salesforce and business development training. Standard Corporate Perks: Full-time corporate staff receive a complete Goosehead Insurance Employee Benefits Package, including a 401(k) match and an employee stock purchase plan.

Cons

No cons to mention here. - this is a job, you can make it great if you care about what you do and the relationships you are building.
