Pros

They pay for your license and give you training. They also show you how an insurance company shouldn't be ran.

Cons

*Disclaimer* this review is for the Henderson office only. There are so many cons to working at this place it'd take a Stephen King length novel to list them all out. Management plays favorites and dangles promotion opportunities out there when they have no intention of promoting anyone. They threaten to block you from finding another insurance job if you leave. To sum up the office culture I'd recommend watching the movie Mean Girls. They make you have unpaid mandatory meetings during your lunch and after your shift is over. Management scolds you if you don't show up super early to your shift, work through your lunch, and stay extremely late. ALL of which is completely unpaid. It is frowned upon to not go out drinking and show up hungover to work like all the managers do. Expect to service policies for sales agents who have absolutely no clue what they are doing and want you to clean up the mess. This job will drain you of your morals and your soul but hey sell that completely unnecessary coverage to a client so we can make more money.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience at Goosehead, especially after moving into a Sales Manager role. The company gives people the opportunity to advance quickly if they’re willing to put in the work. I enjoy coaching and developing new agents, and it’s rewarding to see them grow both professionally and financially. The culture is energetic, leadership invests in training, and top performers are recognized. Like any sales organization, expectations are high and the pace is fast, so it isn’t the right fit for someone looking for a typical 9-to-5. But if you’re self-motivated, coachable, and enjoy competition, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth and strong earning potential.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations, so you have to be self-driven to succeed.

Pros

Broad Product Access: Agents leverage an expansive portfolio of top insurance carriers rather than being forced to sell a single brand. Passive Income Potential: Sales reps earn uncapped commissions on new business alongside recurring residual income from policy renewals. Strong Peer Culture: The workforce is described as highly motivated, energetic, and welcoming, offering a great environment for young professionals. Dedicated Service Support: Separate service and back-office teams handle ongoing client management, allowing sales agents to focus strictly on closing new business. Professional Development: The firm covers the cost of licensing exams and provides structured Salesforce and business development training. Standard Corporate Perks: Full-time corporate staff receive a complete Goosehead Insurance Employee Benefits Package, including a 401(k) match and an employee stock purchase plan.

Cons

No cons to mention here. - this is a job, you can make it great if you care about what you do and the relationships you are building.
