Cons

Oh where do I begin. Overworked over worked over worked. See what happens is when you work hard they only promote their friends. Its whose butt you kiss really. Also apparently doing your job during the day is frowned upon because right before I left I was told that I needed to stay late (unpaid) to show my how much I work. Meanwhile during the day I was working my own cases, pulling from the queue and working other peoples cases. Yet the people promoted are the ones who get drunk with their boss on the weekends. This is hands down the second to worst job I had ever had. I was not appreciated for any of the hard work I did. If you want to work with people who are from high school work here. I can tell you that the place I moved on to really shows me how mature hard working adults are. If you are a hard worker who is an adult don't work at Goosehead. They need to know that they burn out their good employees because they would rather keep the people who kiss butt there.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience at Goosehead, especially after moving into a Sales Manager role. The company gives people the opportunity to advance quickly if they’re willing to put in the work. I enjoy coaching and developing new agents, and it’s rewarding to see them grow both professionally and financially. The culture is energetic, leadership invests in training, and top performers are recognized. Like any sales organization, expectations are high and the pace is fast, so it isn’t the right fit for someone looking for a typical 9-to-5. But if you’re self-motivated, coachable, and enjoy competition, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth and strong earning potential.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations, so you have to be self-driven to succeed.
