Pros

The only pro I can think of is that I no longer work for this company.

Cons

Gossip, immaturity, pettiness, and management make up the issues at play here. Decisions will be made without the correct departments looped in, and often times you will be found at fault. If anyone decides to actually read this, just wait for the response to the 1 star above, and see it is the same generic response. If you also need further proof of the amount of incompetency in charge here, Google “Goosehead Insurance Stock Options” and see how much the top level employees make here, and the amount of money they got for their stock options. Most of the time these same individuals can be found looking at their cell phones in their offices, and will take days to respond to emails. The level of shadiness and uncomfortable situations you will be put in, are simply not worth it. It is a constant and daily battle of management only caring about the butt kissers, and those who work 75 hours. Also, before I forget, HR rarely cares about your issue, as it is one person, and they are buddy buddy with all senior figures. They will not care to even hear your issues at play. Your time and mental stability are worth exploring a different option, elsewhere.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience at Goosehead, especially after moving into a Sales Manager role. The company gives people the opportunity to advance quickly if they’re willing to put in the work. I enjoy coaching and developing new agents, and it’s rewarding to see them grow both professionally and financially. The culture is energetic, leadership invests in training, and top performers are recognized. Like any sales organization, expectations are high and the pace is fast, so it isn’t the right fit for someone looking for a typical 9-to-5. But if you’re self-motivated, coachable, and enjoy competition, there are a lot of opportunities for career growth and strong earning potential.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations, so you have to be self-driven to succeed.

Pros

Broad Product Access: Agents leverage an expansive portfolio of top insurance carriers rather than being forced to sell a single brand. Passive Income Potential: Sales reps earn uncapped commissions on new business alongside recurring residual income from policy renewals. Strong Peer Culture: The workforce is described as highly motivated, energetic, and welcoming, offering a great environment for young professionals. Dedicated Service Support: Separate service and back-office teams handle ongoing client management, allowing sales agents to focus strictly on closing new business. Professional Development: The firm covers the cost of licensing exams and provides structured Salesforce and business development training. Standard Corporate Perks: Full-time corporate staff receive a complete Goosehead Insurance Employee Benefits Package, including a 401(k) match and an employee stock purchase plan.

Cons

No cons to mention here. - this is a job, you can make it great if you care about what you do and the relationships you are building.
