Pros
- awesome teamwork, VERY big work hard / play hard mentality - very high income potential for top producers - thousands of dollars of bonuses during your first year - fun young office environment -will let us work out during the day as our schedule allows to relieve stress. - much more autonomy and flexibility during your 2nd/3rd year (as long as you are hitting your sales goals) - get to sponsor happy hours/events/networking and expense it, along with expensing mileage - company just went public and is growing at an incredible rate - LOTS of opportunity for advancement - upper management is open to new ideas / honest feedback - you make money off of your renewals - so in year 3 or so a large chunk of your income will be made up of renewals from clients you set up years ago. it's very rare to find a sales position with residual income like this. -you can make the same as a lawyer / doctor if you have the work ethic / drive / don't burn out easily / are a people person. - we have a women's professional development program and they are very understanding for women who have children if they need to stay home with a sick child / work from home /etc. - base plus salary - you have a guaranteed paycheck no matter what - full benefits
Cons
- high turnover - most hires are straight out of college so sometimes they were just looking for their first job and I think they underestimate what they're getting themselves into. this is NOT a job where you can just sit around and get paid. you can easily make the same amount somewhere else doing 1/3 of the work we do. if you are not a hard worker willing to grind a few extra hours to make extra commision you wont be a good fit. - stressful - as with any sales role. if you are not willing to put in 12-14 hour work days sometimes and maybe even work a weekend or two when you first start out you won't make it here. - work life balance is challenging especially during the first year. you'll eat sleep breathe working - but if you are the type of person who will make it here you will thrive off of the challenges and be driven by the incentives
