Pros

This job showed me everything wrong with corporate culture and taught me to really research and find a better job that makes WAY more money for way less slave labor, oops I mean "work".

Cons

- Base pay of $35k - $40k dependent on experience/education - Prey on fresh out of college kids who don't know any better - Have you servicing policies in states that you are NOT LICENSED IN * You should NEVER be able to make an endorsement for a policy written in a state that you are NOT licensed in. Let me say it again: YOU, not the company but YOU, MUST have a license in the state that the policy you're endorsing is written in. This is why they ideally want people with no insurance background so you aren't aware of this little tidbit AND why they use a communal login because they are aware that you would not be able to service anything outside of TX or NV (where their service branches are located and most service agent's licenses are from) and it hides the trail that shows individuals without a proper state license endorsing policies they should never be able to touch. - Department of Labor investigation for underpaying salaried employees that work OBSCENE amounts of overtime but make under the threshold of $50k. - Frat/Sorority culture so if you're into drinking, partying, and drugs this works - Asks current employees/sheeple-like managers to pump up positive reviews in order to hide the truth - Will harass you to take back to back calls, and believe me it never, ever stops - Will not make allowances for you to go home if you are ill, instead will subtly bully you into working more - Micromanages you all day, will question why you are on after-call work because ideally they expect you to take call after call with only two 15's and an hour lunch. - Caused me anxiety and depression just thinking about going in mornings, several other service agents felt the same - Does not pay you for Saturday workdays, but instead gives you small amounts of PTO - Is not transparent with you about the brutal nature of this job Please, if you are considering working here - don't. These people are corporate to a T and do not care about you. You are a number. They will fire you and e-mail it out like a badge of pride 10 minutes later to make an example of you for any other stressed service agent afraid to lose their job. They will hound you for calls, even if you need to use the restroom because most of us hide in there from these monsters. They have a DOL investigation. They do not make sure ALL of their agents are licensed in ALL of the states that they are servicing policies in. Save yourself the suffering and keep looking there are better paying jobs out there for less work and most importantly less abusive management, I know this because I have one.
