Pros
If you have no job experience or education this is probably a good fit for you. This is nothing more than a call center job, and your managers will absolutely try to make you think otherwise by changing your title, having meetings on how important and meaningful your contribution is etc. In that way it's great if you came from a previous call center environment and would like to continue doing so. Otherwise...
Cons
If you have any real experience or education it baffles me to think that people stay in this environment when they options. Even with no qualifications people find themselves in better positions than working at a burn-and-churn call center. This makes much more sense however once you see for yourself how adept management is at selling the job to you, despite the fact that most people want to escape from it but have lost the motivation to do so. This job will grind you down and remove all willpower you had to escape and better yourself. Don't take my word for it, just pay attention to the people who work there when they give you the floor-tour. Defection rate is embarrassingly high which management attempts to mitigate by writing false reviews of the company in every social media outlet they can. Workdays are a long, tedious, and mind-numbing experience where its very common to stay late, sometimes very late to pick up the slack of the workday. Although you may think the pay offer is good, watch your actual per hour income plummet as you easily spend 50 hours a week or more doing the same thing over and over. Since it's a very small company promotions are rare. However, Goosehead management will continually tell you they are rapidly growing and promotions are right around the corner in an attempt to get you to stay. In the rare case that there is a promotion it's really just about whoever is friends with the managers. Even then, after a promotion you will be doing exactly same thing as you were before you were promoted except now you handle complaints (oh what a joy). The pay raise after a promotion is negligible as well. If you are smart, hard working, and easy to work with please do yourself a favor and pass on Goosehead. Your career will thank you for it.
