The pay could be better, Raises are cheap just 1 percent every year. Wont give you more then 25 hours so that way they dont have to give you benefits. You make minimum wage but with all the areas you have to be trained and certified in, you deserve to make more, any other grocery store or food service would pay more for the amount of work that needs to be done. Very hard to get promoted. The shift leader at my location has been there for 14 years as a shift leader she is still waiting for a chance to be hired as a manager.
