Pros
Good, privately-owned, company has strong values. Incentives for performance (hitting sales, meeting service standards, etc.). Okay health benefits.
Cons
If Store Manager is not engaged in training their Assistant Managers, it leaves them at a disadvantage and their performance suffers. Compensation for sales associates is not competitive with other similar businesses (i.e. Sam's Club, Costco) so it was hard to keep the associates satisfied with their wages. Sales growth expectations from year to year is a little steep. Most store are expected to increase sales 10-12% from the previous year. This effects your sales bonus as well as effecting your labor, margin, and earnings.
