Pros

The students are the same as students across the United States. They really need help. They want to learn.

Cons

• The Ajunct pay is extremely low; it is about 50% of what you can make at a regular State University. To teach a class that meets on campus 2 or 3 times a week, with an enrollment between 20-30 students, GCU will pay you $2,000 - $2,500 for the entire semester. • Moreover, you – the employee- have to pay for parking. • In addition, GCU expects you to attend on campus meetings and take on-going teaching quizzes about GCU to earn “certificates.” • The Learning Management System is the cheapest in the industry; it is called Loud Cloud and was not designed by educators. • The campus itself is very unattractive. • There is no library. • Turnover is very high among the employees and students with limited knowledge run the IT department.
