Pros
Grand Canyon University has some quality academic programs and real potential as a leader in the for-profit sector. University Development Reps in areas that are familiar with GCU will probably experience marginal, if not somewhat good, success.
Cons
High turnover in this position, inexperienced management team with backgrounds that are not appropriate for their position in academia, encouragement of reps to use high pressure sales tactics. Micromanagement is unbearable, even for top performers. At the end of the day, your numbers are all that matter. Little to no room for growth.
