Patients are the best part, love most co-workers.
Cons
Day starts with rushing to pull together bare minimum staffing for high acuity pts. You will have 7pts at times and only 1 or no NAs for entire floor. Can't tell you have many times staff have waved white flag, sounded the safety alarm, hardline advocated for the pts and mgt either apathetic or out of touch of day to day challenges. If you have a legit concern, met with a laundry list of concerns about your own performance you never knew was an issue before.
