The company seems to implement new databases every few months without beta testing with the employees who will actually use it. There is a definite lack of recognition in Ops unless you have large or difficult customers. The company is a boys club that focuses on Sales. Other departments no longer make commission, nor do our salaries reflect the amount of work that we do. They changed the promotion path to being "in your control," but half of the required trainings cannot be accessed by remote offices. The company thrived and broke records when we were all WFH, but we are being forced back into the office more and more (in person 4 days a week). As someone who is much more productive and focused at home, this is almost a deal breaker for me. The offices are not necessarily condusive to work. The sales team sets off gongs. Since departments are intermingled, seating-wise, I hear teammates loudly talking all day every day. We are above the warehouse, so there is banging and noise everywhere. Since we have 1 day to WFH a week and employees don't want to use PTO, SO many people come into the office sick.
