I was told by management after doing a medical review to wait for my supervisor to contact me about their decision about placing me on a full time contract. To my dismay I was left hanging out for a phone call for a week. To only find out I had been fired, the gutless wonders couldn’t even find the decency to formally terminate me. I have rent to pay, people that rely on me and a flurry of other expenses. It is appalling that such a large business does not know how to handle their employee situation. Furthermore they will actively ignore the needs of their employees, leave them in financial limbo and then won’t even have the protocol to simply fire their staff. It’s disgraceful that a business that wants to be taken seriously doesn’t even know what a formal termination is. Pathetic. Unprofessional. Infuriating. Quite frankly embarrassing for them.

- Toxic work environment - No work/life balance - Overtime/weekends expected - Overtime “available” (required) - Unofficial company motto is “Do whatever it takes” - Not eligible for annual bonuses (Hourly Workers) - Hourly pay increase based on standard increase of role company wide, not based on individual performance (Hourly Workers) - No annual performance review to document employee success (Hourly Workers) - Annual pay increase not guaranteed - No incentive to improve individual performance - Vacation days don’t roll over into new year - Requested vacation days may be denied even though they don't roll over into following year - High employee turnover (especially warehouse employees) - Employees undervalued - Disorganized management - Lack of communication from upper management - Poor overall benefits - High health insurance premiums/deductibles - May renege visa sponsorship without reason - No end of year holiday bonus, just a free Turkey/Ham
