Pros

Competitive pay and decent benefits Friendly and supportive coworkers Occasional company-provided meals and team appreciation efforts

Cons

Systems are outdated and highly manual, which can make daily tasks time consuming and inefficient Heavy reliance on spreadsheets for tracking purchase orders, inventory levels, and delivery updates Role requires frequent manual updates and communication with production, which can be stressful if not maintained consistently Limited flexibility in terms of remote work Vacation/time-off policies could be more competitive In some cases, a single procurement associate supports a large portion of operations, creating high pressure
