Pros

I made decent tips per client base price which was surprising. If you take the extra time, easily get a $10 tip on a $12 cut. I was able to maintain full time hours for my entire work experience there. The clientele is built already, so you stay busy most of the time.

Cons

Keep in mind, you will be punished for taking an extra few minutes with customers, and will not get lunch, or paid properly. I had 12 years experience, and great retail sales, but found it impossible to maintain 10 min haircuts all day. You have to answer the phone, check people in during cuts,no receptionist, and check your clients out in less than 12 minutes or you will be fired.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.

Pros

Depending on your franchise you can level up in pay and make a lot of money , as long as you have good customer service you get great tips, product incentives, productivity incentives, holiday pay!

Cons

Depending on the owner and franchisee you will get great pay or absolutely horrible pay, some Greatclips you will get your credit card tips the same day. Other Greatclips add it to your check (which is absolutely ridiculous)! Some managers only car for themselves.
