Pros
- The administration always had my back. Both headmasters were sincere, virtuous and not even remotely cynical. I remember filling out the application thinking they would be stuffy and uptight. They're not. They are full of joy, and they avoid authoritarianism because authoritarianism doesn't get to the heart of things. - Sincerity - When there is an organization with high standards, hypocrisy is the easiest accusation to hurl at them. The problem is that failing to live up to a standard or having blind spots is not the same thing as consciously refusing to practice what you preach. -Joy - The Headmaster had a Narnian spirit. She was tough, but she had joy, and she wanted to fill that school with wonder, and give kids a sense of beauty and goodness they wouldn't easily get from most other places. We got rid of Pop culture, nature demands a vacuum, so we all MADE a culture, on what was time-tested to be true, good and beautiful, and what would last.
Cons
None... Ok the Evals ought to be shorter, but whatever.
