Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on your employee experience at GreatAmerica. We appreciate your perspective and thoughts regarding flexibility, compensation, and our response to CoVID-19. Within GreatAmerica’s team-based environment, we find that we are better together. Over the past couple of years, we’ve learned new ways of doing business while leveraging tools and technology to help us stay connected and facilitate collaboration. We are still learning about what works best to support our customers from a team-member flexibly standpoint. The experience we deliver to our customers will remain top of mind as we explore longer term flexibility options which meet the needs of our team members. Compensation is a complex subject and I appreciate your feedback on this. At GreatAmerica, we review our compensation plans often to ensure they are fair and competitive. It would be hard to deny that COVID changed a lot of things. One thing that hasn’t changed since the start of COVID, is our response to it. While this article is a little dated, I find the content relevant and true today. Our top priorities have been and remain the safety and well-being of our employees and customers. To that end, we have followed the guidance of the CDC and navigated the mandates and law set forth by local, state, and federal jurisdictions. Culture is key at GreatAmerica; it’s unique and what I believe sets us apart from our competitors. We take steps to nurture our culture in many ways, including periodic employee engagement surveys which help us stay in tune with our team members, through investing in tools that help us connect and collaborate, and by providing opportunities for our team members to engage and connect with each other through internal network group programs and activities. We will continue to preserve, strengthen, and foster the culture we have; it and the people that make it are what make us great.
