I cannot complain , Grede has given me every opportunity to advance and improve my position because I show up everyday and give them 110%.

Cons

The starting pay should be more . Employees should get paid for what they know . They had a plant manager who told them that the more you learn the more you will make but the department heads couldn't agree on how to go about it so the Teir System went away when Shane Ingram left. ( I was lucky enough to get the money for my training at the time] Guys don't want to take on more responsibility without more pay , simple as that.

Pros

So short staffed and rate of turn over is so high your basically handed a job no matter what, they seriously allow anyone to work there

Cons

Poor management, low pay, dangerous work environment, faverisem, lack of communication, short notice on overtime, pay issues, harassment (especiallyif your female, and it gets overlooked or ignored), lack of HR help with issues, will fire you if you get injured so they dont have to worry about making adoptions so you can work
