Pros
I worked at Gresham Smith during the beginning of my career - looking back I just didn't know any better and put up with a lot that I should've have. I wish I had moved on sooner. I AM grateful for: great BIM training, large-scale projects, and that architects and designers were collaborative.
Cons
The environment can be described as an "old boys club" and needs drastic changes. I was refused a livable wage and benefits for over a year. I ultimately left due to being so underpaid. The culture is also toxic towards working mothers; I personally saw many pushed out, while others where miserable but stayed in order to provide for their families. The culture is also toxic toward minorities. A WOC was treated so poorly that she not only quit but moved out of state!
