Pros
* People: atmosphere in he office is positive, all employees are nice and friendly * Good technical level across the board; also we tackle more complicated projects for our clients compared to other vendors * Medical insurance and compensation for sports and some other purchases * PRs every 6 months, usually useful to define personal growth goals and come with salary increase * Management seems invested in the employee education, there are free English courses, books, trainings and other self-education options * It is possible to change team if you really want to switch jobs without leaving the company * Office has shower, bike parking, snacks, coffe machines * Company overall seems stable and growing
Cons
* It's outsource, so you have little control over the product you are working on * SPb office is not as nice as one in Saratov, probably due to the location being more expensive * The client I am working for is Financial institution in the US, this comes with a lot of security restrictions; for example we are forced to work on the VPCs which is painful, also there are no trips to US for QAs working for this client (this does not apply to other accounts, so most of the people are not affected)
